Annual Education Conference – FOCUS invites professionals to speak on various topics to speak at the Annual Education Conference and help parents (and other professionals) find the information they need! Representatives from community agencies will exhibit so participants can learn about services, such as respite care, therapy groups, assistive technology, and adapted equipment. Parents enjoy a day of networking with professionals, community agencies, and other parents and learn valuable information to help their child…..and their family. There is a small fee for the conference, but scholarships are available.
The 2012 Annual Education Conference is Saturday, February 11, 2012. Keynote speakers are Julie Tennant & Derrick Tennant, known as “The Love Chromosome.” Prepared to be inspired!!
Monthly Workshops – FOCUS offers free workshops on waiver programs available to children in Georgia, special education rights, and other resources for children and families. Workshops are announced in the FOCUS newsletter and by emails to families. Most workshops are held at the FOCUS office. Directions to FOCUS.
